The Relationship On Sense Of Belonging,Psychological Capital And Subjective Well-being Of Corps Workers

Happiness is the ultimate purpose of life, the pursuit of happiness is the natural right of human beings. Happiness psychologist Diener and Suh, they define happiness as people’s evaluation of their overall quality of life according to their own standards.The definition is concerned that people’s inner feelings,so the kand of happiness is called subjective well-being. In recent years, the longitudinal study of subjective well-being was emphasized. From the point of development, People’s needs followed the trend from survival needs, developing needs to transcendence needs. Accordingly, the subjective well-being is also divided into survival subjective well-being, developing subjective well-being and meta subjective well-being. Sense of belonging is one of the basic human needs, its satisfaction or deficiency both impact on other kinds of needs,and thus will have impact on multilevel subjective well-being. Previous studies on the sense of belonging mainly concerned whether it significantly affect subjective well-being or not, lacking the discuss on mechanism of sense of belonging. Psychological capital is one of the important factors that affect subjective well-being. At present, the localization research of psychological capital and subjective well-being is emphasized. Psychological capital affect subjective well-being through its internal dimensions.In terms of different groups, whether the mechanism of psychological capital is different? As well as how does it work between the sense of belonging and subjective well-being?In more than 60 years, Xinjiang Corps always bear the historical mission of exploitation of virgin land in border area. Generations in the Corps take root in the boder region, Just Selflessness. In the practice of exploitation of virgin land in border area, people in the Corps gradually develop good character of tenacity, perseverance and dedication. What is the status of sense of belonging, psychological capital and subjective well-being of Corps urban residents?Based on the above issues, the study adopted investigation method. Aims to grasp the overall situation of sense of belonging, psychological capital and subjective well-being of Corps urban residents, the community attachment questionnaire, PPQ and multilevel subjective well-being scale as the research tools. Explored the relationship and mechanism among sense of belonging, psychological capital and subjective well-being, the study drawed the following conclusions:(1) The sense of belonging scale, PPQ and multilevel subjective well-being scale chosen in this study all have good applicability in Corps worker groups.(2) The overall level of sense of belonging with Corps workers is higher than the middle level. Corps workers have a relatively strong belonging to their Merino community; Middle-aged workers have the strongest sense of belonging, youth workers and retired workers’sense of belonging are weaker; the larger the area of family housing, the stronger their sense of belonging; the sense of belonging enhanced with their household income growth.(3) The overall level of Corps workers’ psychological capital is higher. Corps workers who take root in the boder region have a strong resilience, self-confidence, hope and optimism; Male workers have more psychological capital than female workers; the level of middle-aged workers’ psychological capital is highest; Corps workers with higher education, their psychological capital level is also higher.(4) The average level of happiness of Corps workers is higher than the middle level, that is the overall happiness of Corps workers is better.(5) Sense of belonging and psychological capital both have positive impact on subjective well-being, and the prediction effect of psychological capital is stronger; Psychological capital is an important mechanism for mediation in sense of belonging influences subjective well-being, and it will enable the individual with stronger sense of belonging to get more happiness.(6) Self-efficacy has positive moderating effect in the sense of community responsibility influences developing SWB; Optimism has positive moderating effect in the sense of community responsibility influences developing SWB and meta SWB, When people have strong sense of community, also need to improve self-efficacy and optimism to get high happiness.
