With the rapid development of our economy, and the other countries on international exchanges have become more frequent and deeper, more and more foreigners come to China to learn Chinese, and the main evaluation criteria of Chinese is learners can speak good Chinese, can communicate in Chines. So Spoken Chinese is a very important part, also is a big difficulty in the process of teaching. But there are a lot of problems in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in our country at present, such as teaching pattern is unitary, the teaching method is boring and so on. So the interest of learning Chinese is not very high, can not understand the problems better and deeper, affect the students’communication. In the face of such problems, the new teaching method should be bring in to improve the students’ interest in learning Chinese. And problem-based teaching method is a kind of method which centering on the problem solving, this model use a problem as a starting point, and then the students thinking and solving problems, achieve the goal of understanding, mastering and application knowledge. This paper is mainly about problem-based teaching method in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, from the theoretical overview of problem-based teaching method, studies the relationship between the teaching method and teaching Chinese as a foreign language, through the view of the students of International College of Yunnan Agricultural University, and targeted a questionnaire, analysis summed up the existing problems, and according to specific circumstances, problem-based teaching method is adopted to improve the teaching design, in order to solve these problems, put forward feasible teaching strategies for the teachers, improve the teaching level.
