Suiyuanshihua is an important poetic work written by Yuan Mei, which has aroused the attention of researches. With the objective of writing the affection through the poem, Suiyuanshihua pursues free and flexible creative technique, which outweigh the authoritative Stylistic Theory and Flesh Texture Theory. It also contains Yuan Mei’s numerous criticism theories, such as the critical principle and appreciating huacritical method, which fly their own colors. Among them, the attention to the female boudoir poems catches the eyes most, which, in a way, promotes to the ideological emancipation and arouses the female independent consciousness. Due to the deep influence of Zhuang Zi’s dialectical ideology, Suiyuanshihua shines for the dialectical ideology whether from the poem creation or from the poem criticism.The body of the paper demonstrates the poetic ideology on Suiyuanshihua from three aspects.The first chapter explains the connotation of spirit. To begin with, the ideological foundation of Yuan Mei’s spirit poetic is presented in combination with time background, in which the first chapter explores the influence of Confucianism and Taoism on Yuan Mei. The next part analyses he relationship among the Spirit Theory and Stylistic Theory, Romantic Theory and Flesh Texture Theory. In the end, the spirit implication is presented from two aspects of disposition and brain wave on the foundation of previous studies.The second chapter introduces the creative ideology on Yuan Mei’s poems. To start with, three creative principles, which are innovation, literature value for its euphemism and theory on sense, are explained. The second demonstrates that the creation subject should be qualified with the well-informed, careful thinking and extraordinary quickness of comprehension ability. Finally, the creative expression is demonstrated from three aspects, which pay attention to reality, purse for vividness and apply to the line drawing and colloquial language.The third chapter mainly demonstrates the contents on poem criticism. Yuan Mei’s criterions on poem criticism are presented from three aspects, which arouse the affection, value the interest, and appreciate the clearness. In the following, the critical methods are presented from the picking sentence criticism, appreciation criticism as well as Partial ring.Yuan Mei’s opinions on female boudoir poems are demonstrated from the Yuan Mei’s great attention, comments and comments features on female boudoir poems on the base of female boudoir poems creation of Qing generation.The conclusion generally demonstrates the influence and limitation of Suiyuanshihua’s poetic ideology.
