Procrastination is a kind of personal disposition or trait, in essence, a kind of behavior or a kind of non rational tendency which should be postponed. Procrastination is a very common phenomenon in college students, in the usual study life,few people can finish today’s job, nearly every college student has more or less some procrastination.procrastination usually leads to does not conform to the standards of learning results, and often accompanied by anxiety, depression, loss of negative emotion. The relationship between academic procrastination and perfectionism and self consciousness is a subject with theoretical significance and practical value. In depth study of this issue, it is conducive to the mental health education in Colleges and universities to select the appropriate entry point of view, to help college students to fully and actively prevent academic procrastination.This study uses concise academic procrastination scale, perfectionism scale and self consciousness volume table as a research tool, from Soochow University were randomly selected from the A to the big four grades 400 college students conducted a questionnaire survey, and discusses the present situation of College Students’ academic procrastination, and academic procrastination and perfectionism, academic delay between self consciousness and the relationship between. And to establish and test the relationship between academic procrastination and perfectionism and self-consciousness of college students through data processing. The present situation and reason of the academic procrastination of the university students in Soochow University are analyzed in detail.(1) college students’ academic procrastination is in the middle level, and the female students’ scores are higher than the male students.(2) college students’ academic procrastination in grade exist significant differences, procrastination score from one to three showed a significant rise in the trend to high Thursday declined.(3) there was a significant difference in the gender of College Students’ Perfectionism, and male students scored higher than girls.(4) there is a significant difference in the gender of College Students’self-consciousness, the female students’ scores are higher than that of the male students.(5) college students’ academic procrastination was negatively correlated with perfectionism, and was negatively correlated with self consciousness.(6) self-consciousness has partial mediating effect between academic procrastination and perfectionism.
