Research On The Relationship Between The 80-8 Nerve Type And Visual Search Ability

The 80-8 nerve type scale is a test method for nerve types. it is created by Professor Zhang Qinghua and Wang Wenying, at Suchoow University. This scale on the basis of the "visual- move" conditioned reflex, it’s three tests are all a kind of symbol lookup. What is the relationship between The scale and visual search ability? Really it uses the form of symbol search to test various characteristics of the nervous system during different tasks? Or merely tests visual search ability. This study selected 100 subjects from810 college students had finished the 80-8 nerve type scale, parallel search; serial search;union search and the visual search under the condition of task-switching need to be accomplished in order. The paper analyzed the relationship between the search rate and different indicators of the 80-8 nerve type scale, finally get the following conclusions:(1) The abilities in different visual search tasks(parallel search; serial search; union search and the visual search under the condition of task-switching)were significantly positively correlated with the 80-8 nerve type. The individuals got higher score in the 80-8scale the visual search capabilities are better.(2) Increase the difficulty of visual search task, the degree of correlation in search rate and the score of 80-8 is not increasing.(3) The cognitive process more complex, higher contribution search rate for the 80-8type nerve scale test score.
