A Study On "Verb Zou" Form Multi-Perspectives

Last few years, research on Verb-Resultative Construction(VCR) has achieved fruitful results. Scholars have already put forward "Vreb Zou" form belongs to the VCR, but fewer studies about this form have been done and lack of systematic study."Verb Zou" is the main research object in this paper. This study mainly consists of four chapters:The first part introduces the significance, research status and research methods used in this paper, in addition to the corpus to be used, and points out the innovations.The second chapter analyzes the "Verb Zou" form from the perspective of semantics. Firstly, we make a exhaustive study about who can enter the "Verb Zou" form and who cannot enter the "Verb Zou" with the help of corpus, and carry out the semantic classification, point out that the semantic features of these verbs. Then, we analyzes semantic point of the "Zou". At last, we sort out the "Verb Zou" form types of semantic and summarize the "Verb Zou" semantic features.The third chapter is about the syntactic analysis of "Verb Zou", the study finds that the "Verb Zou" can serve as different syntactic function in a sentence. Besides, we investigate the certain sentence pattern which "Verb Zou" can appear.The fourth chapter is devoted to the pragmatic features of "Verb Zou" form, mainly from the sentence type, the category of tense and aspect, the style and so on. Then, we study the relationships between the sentence and the valenz of verb that can enter the "Verb Zou" form.The last is the conclusion of this paper which generalize the content of this article, and obtain some idea of "Verb Zou" form.
