| Korean and Chinese compound adverbs occupy an important position in the language, though there are not a very large proportion of compound ad-verbs in both Korean and Chinese languages. In this paper, the title is the comparison between Korean and Chinese compound adverbs.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature, analysis and comparisons to research and analyze the two languages’compound adverbs syntactic word formation and semantic aspects detailing some of thefeatures of word formation. Also this paper will explore the structure of Chinese and Korean compound adverbs and semantic characteristicsand composition rules.The full paper is divided into four chapters.Chapter One, the introduction briefly presents the current researchon compound words structure and demonstrates the objectives, significance, approaches and perspectives of this dissertation.Chapter Two, the introduction briefly presents the basic theory. This chapter defines the definition of the compound words and compound adverbs, discuss the stander of differentiating compound words and phrases, the characteristics of compound adverbs.Chapter Three, this chapter analyzes the characteristic formation of the compound adverbs in morphology, sentence structure and significance to find the similarities and dissimilarities between Chinese and Korean compound adverbs, which is the most important part in this paper. Chinese does not have a morphological change.Chapter Four is the conclusion. The remaining discussion concludes the primary view of this dissertation and puts forward the issues for further study in future. |
