In the human society,festival is kind of important and widespread explicit cultural image,it contains the comprehension about the astronomy、climate、agriculture and other aspects from the people living in one region or belonging to the same nation.The Qing dynasty is ruled by minority groups,is also the last feudal dynasty as so far,so,the aspects of national cultures blending and cultural conflicts between China and the west are vividly embodied in the poetry of festival,this is the biggest difference with the poetry of festival of former generation.This paper contains of one introduction and three chapters,respectively selecting one typical case from the early、middle and late of Qing dynasty,to discuss the characteristics and development of the poetry of festival in Qing dynasty.The early of the Qing dynasty focus on the poetry of festival written by a special group of exile and adherents who are in a miserable situation,in order to highlight poetry ’s function of lyric;The middle of the Qing dynasty is aimed at the region,narrates the flourishing of the festival culture in Suzhou area, taking ShiYuan manuscripts as an example;While,the late of the Qing dynasty pay close attention to the Practical function of poetry of festival. The poetry of festival presents different style and features in different period, it is closely related to the characteristics of society development, the general mood of society leads literati character,and then affects the poetic style, there are telltale signs in this situation.The poetry of festival is an important theme of poetry, there also are some crosses with folklore and sociology. Therefore,the research of it has significant effect, not only in developing the kernel spirit of traditional poetry, repeating the ancient festival ceremony,but in writing the history of folklore and sociology.
