With the rapid development of foreign language education, the major colleges and universities continue to export foreign language teachers. There is a special group in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, namely,Chinese interns,because they possess a dual identity:student and teacher.On one hand,they are students in China,while on the other,they are teachers in foreign countries.Each of the major colleges and universities sends the relevant professional students to overseas for foreign language teaching practicum.For one thing, it can meet the needs of the increasing number of foreign language teachers;for another, it also provides a training platform for Chinese students to improve their teaching ability.As a new force, Chinese students lack experience and confidence in teaching,which will seriously affect their teaching quality.One of the important factors that affect the quality of teaching is the teacher’s teaching efficacy, therefore, it is of great significance to improve the teaching efficacy of Chinese students.In May 2015,Guangxi university sent some Chinese interns to Thailand to carry out the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The author, as a member of the Chinese interns,makes use of my own practice to start a research on the students majoring in Chinese international education from Guangxi university of class 2014.The empirical research on teaching efficacy,can help us not only understand the situation of teaching efficacy of Chinese interns in different periods,but also verify the effectiveness of the strategy to promote the improvement of the teaching quality of Chinese students.In this paper, the questionnaire was conducted in the early stage, the middle stage and the later period of the internship by using the questionnaire survey method to collect data.Then the SPSS22.0 was employed to describe and analyze the data.At the same time, the author made use of the methods of classroom observation and personal interview to supplement the results of the quantitative research in each period.Such a comprehensive research can make the conclusion more convincing.
