Song Zhongyuan is one of the first five progenitors of Zhejiang school Chinese Figure Painting, which is formed in the early 1950 s and 1960s. He based on the traditional pen and ink. Which formed a unique aesthetic and arts features that made the traditional poetry mingled withe western design concept, So-called combination of poetry and painting, is Originated from Eastern Jin dynasty (317-420).The painting named Goddess Luo Rhapsody, is created by Gu Kaizhi,one of the famous painters in china. In Tang dynasty, Wang wei-some people called him poem Buddha-drawed a picture named Wangchuan Valley,that’s also one of the existing most early poetic imagery. With the development of history and the flourishing of Literati Paintings, poetry in the traditional painting, no matter landscape, flowers ane birds, or figure painting, has gradually hold dominant position in SMS. Although there had a fault in context because of in the historical pattern of unrest, but owed to the academic guidance from Pan Tianshou, The fine brushwork figure painting of Song Zhongyuan, reflects both the traditional techniques, and also the state of poetic. On the inheritance, development and characteristics of "poetic" performance. Mr Song showed us a tribute to the traditional literati paintings, just as Pan Tianshou once said "poetry, books, paintings, be short of one cannot". The way of creation on showing the poetic realm by Mr Song, is a considerable sign to the traditional Chinese painting creation and practice, when also demonstrated the cultural accumulation After five thousand years of accumulation,and inherited by all his Representative works.
