Constructing Of View And Significance Of Images Of Males In Airing Zhang’s Novels

In Airing Zhang’snovels, she not only described a number of female images who are self-esteem and self-improvement, but also depicted a variety of male images. She is good at using magnificent language and different artistic skills to depict characters. Some of them are selfish and hypocritical,some of them are cruel and heartless, and some of them are cowardly and incompetent. However, there are a few of them are honest and kind. In her novels, she criticized the males who are ugly in heart, and the novels are filled with her contempt to the sinister and sly males. Through the criticism of males who are ugly in internal, achieve the purpose of criticism of the feudal system and feudal culture. When she depicted male images, she mainly paid attention to males’ external and the internal of spirit. By using a variety of artistic skills, she depicted lots of lively images of men. Through these images, she skillfully showed people the current situation of the society at that time. It also presents her concept about males who are selfish, hypocritical and ruthless. Besides, different personalities and characters of male images imply profound meanings in the field of history of literature, aesthetics and culture.In this paper, there are three parts to analyze male images.
