Since the second half of the 19th century, various design movement (the arts and crafts movement, Art Nouveau, decoration art movement) after another, followed by various avant-garde appearance, such as Fauvism, cubism, futurism, Dadaism, expressionism and so on to at the beginning of the second century laid the foundation for modern design concept "design school" (German industrial alliance, Russian constructivism, the Dutch style), rather than in the non thinking and exploration of "visual form, which is sufficient to illustrate the in the analysis and understanding of visual arts played an important role. But with the changing times, the change of visual art "also reflects the artist and designer in the world outlook and values on many changes.This paper takes Holland style "visual form" as the research object, first introduced the style from early stage of Fauvism, cubism, futurism is the "form" of the enlightenment; then from the theoretical analysis of the style of the "form" features:mainly by using the discussion on "abstraction and empathy" Wallinger (abstract impulse and impulse, and empathy) Adolf Arnheim in art and visual perception (in the form, shape, light, color balance, etc.) theory to the analysis of "style" in the form of inorganic (geometry), non symmetry feature, basic color and neutral colors in this paper; the final analysis will style "form" destination, namely "picture" theory, in order to clarify the style made in the exploration of Holland local modern avant-garde art. That is, the ultimate question for "visual form", determine its value in modern art.
