Sonata Form In The Works Of Different Style Development And Explored

This paper primarily introduces recital programs, background of repertoires, emphasis of analysis and practice based on “sonata form”. To find out developing traits of varied repertoires in “sonata form” by analyzing different eras and styles, which is essential for performers to grasp the connotation and have a better understanding of the works.The recital’s programs feature varied styles, including Mozart Piano Sonata(classical period), Schumann Piano Concerto in A minor(romantic period), Scriabin Sonata(late romantic period), Paganini Theme and Variations(contemporary work combined jazz style), and Dong Xiang Gu Lou(Chinese work in atonal).The first half part of this paper demonstrates the significance of this recital by introducing and analyzing all repertoires above; the second half part provides further reference for other pianists according to my own practical studies and experiences.
