As an artistic and intellectual product, Musical is a distinguishable form from the rest of the spec. It’s given the qualifications for industrialisation, with IP being the core value, it’s a player with prominent economic radioactive power. Not only a competent musical is capable of thriving the local performing market, it is also capable of stimulating the neighbouring area’s service industry. However, during the last few decades, musical has not been able to successfully adapt to the local market in terms of growth and progression. The history and experiences of western musical industry are convenient indeed, but it doesn’t imply copying indiscriminately; thus finding the pattern from those experience of great lessons, and writing a strategy designed for Chinese market is the issue demanded for solution.This paper discusses on researching and constructing a developing strategy designed for domestic market of China of musicals, supported by dual cultural evolution theory, and under the context of pluralism. First, the paper shall summarise the passage that musical has taken domestically; together with a methodised history of American and British musical, and dual cultural evolution theory, the paper concludes the definition of and direction of development of musical within China.Secondly, the paper talks about on how Britain, America, Korea and Japan, under different circumstances and cultural background,manage the musical business utilising different methods; and from those what can be selected to be integrated into creating Chinese musical developing strategy. Thirdly, from both macro and micro points of view, the paper provides an overlook of the current status of musical industry in China. Ultimately, the paper proposes an development strategy accustomed to Chinese market supported by dual cultural revolution, the experiences of Britain, America, Korea and Japan, pluralism and cross media, and online finance.All the data and cases in this paper com from sources of credits, the information are truthful and instructive. This paper intends to provides new perspectives and methods on the management of musical industry in China.
