The Research Of Du Fu’s Poem For Communication And Interpersonal Communication Of Tang Dynasty Scholars

Du Fu created more than fourteen hundred poems in his life.He is a typical realist poet in China, the documentary and authenticity of the facts of Du Fu’s poetry in record has been recognized by everyone. A large part of these poems involved his communication with people at that time, reflecting the situation of interpersonal communication of Du Fu in the daily life. And Du Fu is a typical representative of the class of scholars in the Tang Dynasty, so we can get some acquainted with the situation of interpersonal communication of the class of scholars in the Tang Dynasty from the situation of interpersonal communication of Du Fu.Therefore, this article is intended to do a certain degree of exploration about the situation of interpersonal communication of the class of scholars in the Tang Dynasty, which is main based on the study of poem for communication of Du Fu’s poetry.Because this article makes the study of Du Fu’s poem for communication from the perspective of interpersonal communication, this "poem for communication" is not exactly the same as "poem for association" from the perspective of literary. Therefore,the author gives a definition of poem for communication from the perspective of interpersonal communication.This article argues that poem for communication is the poetry which can reflect the interaction between men,and this kind of interaction includes both the interactive of spiritual aspects and material aspects, then we can find the building, maintaining or breaking of the relationship between men.According to the above definition, we find that the number of Du Fu’s poem for communication is 684 and the number of people who communicated with Du Fu at least is 371.According to the difference of Du Fu’s interpersonal communication objects,the article generates the social groups communicated and interacted with Du Fu into four categories:scholar,clergy,relatives and common people, and analyzes the main communication forms, contents and purposes of Du Fu and the four groups. Meanwhile, this article refers to the related works and historical materials, including Du Fu’s research, the political economic and social research in Tang Dynasty, Tang Dynasty Taoism and Buddhism studies,etc. And, this dissertation uses the research methods of literature review and text analysis. On this basis, show Du Fu’s daily interpersonal communication and the specific communication deeds to a certain extent, and make further understanding of the interactive communication between the scholar group represented by Du Fu and social other groups in Tang Dynasty, then know the Tang Dynasty Scholars’life, customs and human interaction, at last indirectly perceive the living conditions and psychological state of the Tang scholars.This paper is divided into two parts, an introduction and five chapters of the text.The introduction is the preparatory work for the paper, including the origin and significance of the topic, literature review, research methods and research purposes. At last, it give a definition of "scholar", "interpersonal communication" and "poem for communication". The first chapter describes the search principle of poem for communication, and introduces the overall situation of Du Fu’s poem for communication. The second chapter to the fifth chapter discusses respectively the interpersonal communication between the Tang Dynasty’s scholars represented by Du Fu and other scholars, clergy, relatives and common people, including the specific communication object, the main way of communication, communication content and communication purposes, and try to analysis some of the issues presented in the Tang Dynasty scholar’s interpersonal communication from these interaction situations.Among them, Chapter 2-Interpersonal Communication between Du Fu and The Scholar Group is the key chapter of this article, because this group as the main contacts in Du Fu, and both the number of contacts and the number of poem for communication are the largest number of Du Fu’s poems. Meanwhile, the end of the chapter also analyzes the reasons why this group had become the main communication object of Tang Dynasty’s scholars. Chapter 3-Interpersonal Communication between Du Fu and Clergy Group:It is noteworthy that the author elaborates the realistic background of interpersonal communication from the angles of social basis and ideological basis in this part. Chapter 4-Interpersonal Communication between Du Fu and relatives:First, the author divides Du Fu’s relatives into two types of family members and other relatives, and explore the difference and similarity of the way of communication, communication content and communication purposes from these two types of communication object. Finally, we find two characteristics of communication between Du Fu and his relatives from these situations. Chapter 5-Interpersonal communication between Du Fu and common people:Because the people of this group are many and miscellaneous, so they are divided into three types. Then study the differences of communication content and communication purposes between Du Fu and these three types of people. In addition, this chapter also analyzes the contradictory mentality when Du Fu communicated with common people, and intend to explain the reasons of the contradictory mentality.
