Benjamin was born in 1982 at Germany, a son of a prosperous Jewish family. And died at the beginning of 1940 in the border town of Spain.He is considered one of the most important literary critic of Western Marxism and esthetician.In his short life,he had created a lot of works which had far-reaching impacts, made a number of influential theoretical results, promoted the development of Marxism literature and art criticism. This paper is to introduce the theory of Walter Benjamin’s art production. He didn’t use a system to elaborate the theory of art production, for example, first put forward the concept, the definition of the concept, and then the deduction and demonstration.
