| Traditional ink art plays a very important role in Chinese arts and cultures. Its application to graphic design contributes to improving the design itself and the nation’s ability to appreciate beauty in China. So far, however, there are also some problems to solve. For example, the combination of traditional ink art elements and Chinese contemporary poster designs is not perfect enough, which is just presented on the surface. Actually, the combination is not only to show the external beauty which just helps to complete the pictures but also to present artistic conception, implication,philosophical connotation and spiritual connotation behind the traditional ink elements.The subject is to research into the inheritance and innovation of traditional ink elements in the Chinese contemporary poster designs order to achieve a perfect combination.In the paper, the subject is to be researched into by looking back on the development of traditional ink art. First, summarize the artistic conception in the ink art and analyze the creation state of the posters’ creation to find a conjunction point and similarities between them. Then, summarize the existing state of the application in the poster designs according to several examples. Lastly, summarize the methods of the inheritance and innovation. In a word, the inheritance of traditional ink art should be more than a pro form inheritance and concentrate on a philosophical inheritance and development, which is bound to have a great impact on Chinese cultures and innovation of contemporary poster designs. |
