The Study On Performance Analysis Of Warning! Gustnadoes Ahead For Flute And Electronics

With the development and change of Science & Technology and composing ideas since 20th, flute performance in traditional forms could not meet the composers’constant pursuit of hearing. A growing number of works for flute and electronics appear in people’s field of vision, which enriching the flute music and challenging the flute players. This article attempts to make an analysis on Derek Charke’s Warning/ Gustnadoes Ahead for flute and electronics(Prepared), with writer’s study, by collecting available information. Finally proposed the corresponding performance method for this piece and make a short description of the characteristics of the performing forms, thus providing reference.This article contains:Introduction, main body of two chapters and epilogue, the attached bibliography. The first chapter is the introduction of the composer and this work, following its analysis. Second chapter is consists of the design and trigger of performance as well as the analysis of flute techniques.
