The Study On The Current Situation And Problems Of Chinese Children’s Picture Books

The original creation of China children’s picture book is still in the ascendant. This gave us a huge amount of creative latitude and broad prospects while, at the same time, a series of problems and the crucial questions. In this paper we conclude some achievements and problems of China Children picture books for their beginning development as well as the features of some outstanding children picture books. Also, analysis the entire value achievements chain of the picture books including the problems of creation, publishing, reading and etc in order to find the influence effects to improve the overall level of the original children’s picture book in our country. Then put forward to some practicable suggestions in their future development. Related work for the future development of Chinese children’s picture books should revolve around the particularity of reading object(children) and the particularity of form(pictures and words) the two characteristics, basing on the large amount of introduced advantage books. Also we should develop the original books based on the breakthroughs in the local characteristics of the Chinese traditional culture and other indigenous cultures.
