After the "Cultural Revolution", China started to "set wrong things right". An overwhelming majority of undeserved "right wings" have received a political rehabilitation. Some right wing writers who have experienced this political disaster like Wang Meng, Zhang Xianliang and Cong Weixi are among the first ones to tell the "Anti-Rightist Movement" in the 1950s. The Legend of Tianyun Mountain, Bull, Butterfly, The Green Tree and Haif a Man is Woman etc. all have once made a voice. As time goes on and with the liberation of mind, the mind and attitude of these witnesses of the Cultural Revolution are also changing, thus appearing new literary works like My Bodhi Tree, Season of Mannerlessness and To the Chaos etc. Soon afterwards, a batch of successors insisting the intellectual position and spirit also started to retell this phase of history. Grandfather on Father’s Heart by Fang Fang, A Story about My Uncle by Wang Anyi, and The Snake Won’t Poison Himself by You Fengwei etc., together with the three important works in 2000:namely China 1957 by You Fengwei, Chronicle of Wu Ni Lake by Fang Fang and Jiabiangou Memories, all has a different kind of "Right Wing" narration. This thesis can be divided into three parts according to the content of the "Right Wing" narration as the narrative of distress of the "culture heroes" and the beginning of reflection, the spiritual archives of the "Right Wings", and close to the truth of history. The three parts explore how those writers of different identities and times narrate the same period of history, what ways they take and the significance of their narration. The writing of "Right Wing" writers experiences a transition from expressing political appeal through romanticizing their sufferings to self-reflecting on the sufferings and the intellectuals. On the other hand, Fang Fang and You Fengwei put their focus on the "understanding and grasp of the human mind of those meeting with that movement", thus to explore the inner psychic pain and struggle of soul of those intellectuals, establishing a spiritual archives for the "Right Wing" intellectuals, thereby reflecting the injury of totalitarian politics towards people. These writers "are willing to face up to the dark side of the history and making an interior questioning and examination", in order to rebuild the historical memory. However, the writer Yang Xianhua chooses to chock people greatly with the documentary short stories named Jiabiangou Memories. Jiabiangou Memories pays more attention to the objectivity and the documentary aspect and approaches to the truth of history more veritably, thus making a real revivification of the painful history. The truth, provides Jiabiangou Memories with an intensified critical consciousness and criticism, and the writer questions the undertaking of the historic responsibility by individuals. The creation of those writers provides different viewing angles for the "Right Wing" narration, thus also bringing various possibilities for literature.
