With the continuous improvement of comprehensive national strength in recent years, the number of Chinese learners gradually increases around the world.Mongolia, with the longest border line with China, is inextricably linked in the political, economic, cultural and other aspects with our country since ancient times.The amount of Chinese learners in Mongolia grows very fast since the 21 century,especially after the President Xi Jingping visited Mongolia in August 2014, delivering an important speech to promote further bilateral cultural exchange. The passion to learn Chinese has been reaching a climax. Chinese learners in Mongolia range from students of middle school, high school to ones of all ages, including preschoolers. It becomes a new phenomenon that more and more pre-school children learn Chinese.The thesis analyzes the new phenomenon that pre-school children learn Chinese in Ulan Bator of Mongolia. There is more than half of the population living in the city of Ulan Bator and more than ninety percent of Chinese learners also study here. So it is necessary to have a survey about the Chinese language teaching for pre-school children in Ulan Bator, which can reflect the situation of Chinese language teaching for preschool children in Mongolia. The present research on the country-specific Chinese language teaching focuses on Europe and the United States, followed by Japan, Korea and some Southeast Asian countries. The survey about Mongolian Chinese language teaching situation especially about the pre-school children’s is insufficient. Based on such situation, the thesis have a careful analysis of Chinese language teaching in Mongolian pre-school and it can be benefit for solving the problems on Chinese teaching in Mongolia.Through the methods such as Practical teaching、Case study 、Reading documents and Teaching Reflection, it shows that there are some advantages in Chinese teaching for pre-school children in Ulan Bator,for example, the children can keep learning Chinese when they finish pre-school study. But there are also some problems, for instance, inefficient value on Chinese teaching, the shortage of textbooks and teachers,and inexperienced teaching method hinder the progress of Chinese teaching. In addition, there are overlaps and merchandises in Chinese teaching between pre-school and primary. At the same time, the thesis found the previous research on solutions toChinese teaching for pre-school stage is mostly concrete and plainly. The thesis will combine psychology and other related disciplines, analyze the problems in deeper level based on psychology and other related theories in order to solve the problems of Chinese language teaching for pre-school children.
