| The theoretical framework of violence research is based on adult males as perpetrators. Mass and participants usually regard these perpetrators as representatives of the strong, the hot-tempered, and the evil. Then in turn, what will happen if perpetrators are minor girls?Hypothesis of this study:(1)female-perpetrator images will trigger aggressive cognition(aggressive thoughts and memory trends);(2) female-perpetrator video can trigger aggressive cognition;(3) violence presentation is a startup variables, namely, different presentations take on different dynamic effects;(4)there were differences between different genders of the viewer to the same violent materials caused by aggressive cognition;(5) after watching the female-perpetrator video, different genders start of different degrees of cognition;(6) after watching female-perpetrator video, male subjects’ attack striking cognitive will be inhibited. In order to verify the above hypothesis, this study designed two experiments, respectively from the two aspects of thinking and memory to test whether the attack on College Students’ perceived existed priming effect by he male subjects.Experiment 1 tested the priming effect on aggressive thoughts. We randomly selected 215 freshmen to fill out the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire applying to Chinese college students, among which 161 are effective subjects. We use 3 * 2 * 2 * 2 design and four independent variables: Subjects attack trait level(high / medium / low), subjects were gender(male / female), the perpetrators of age(adult / juvenile), presentation(video / image), the dependent variable: aggressive thoughts, the performance of the aggressive words and fuzzy words 7 Association Questionnaire total score from.In this paper, we assume that, if the female-perpetrator video started of aggressive thoughts, participants would think that aggressive words were highly associated with fuzzy words. Research process: participants are required to work out the correlation between 20 aggressive words and 20 fuzzy words within the specified time. The higher the score was, the more significant the priming effect of aggressive thoughts was.Experiment 2 assessed the effects from the perspective of memory trends. We randomly selected 213 freshmen to fill out the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire applying to Chinese college students,the final effective test 160 people. We use 3 * 2 * 2 * 2 design and four independent variables: Subjects attack trait level(high / medium / low), subjects were gender(male / female), the perpetrators of age(adult / juvenile), presentation(video / image) and the dependent variable: memory trends, as subjects correctly recalled the words in word attack proportion.In this paper, we assume that, if female-perpetrator video started college students’ memory of the aggressive trends, the aggressive words that they recall accounts for a higher proportion. Research process: participants are required to remember 20 phrases existing simultaneously on the screen after watching female-perpetrator video.(10 violent words and 10 neutral word position were randomly presented) After 1 minute, participants are required to write down phrases that they remember. The higher scores they get, the memory towards aggressive cognition it is.The experimental results showed that:(1)With the female-perpetrator images and videos were able to start of aggressive cognition(i.e. attacks thoughts and memory trends);(2) The female-perpetrator video of male participants priming effect was not significant, significant priming effect on female images of violence; and for female participants, the priming effect of female images of violence is not significant, and the priming effect of violent video significantly;(3)trait aggression level is high, start the memory effect is more significant;(4) to attack trait level lower,adult female violence impact greater;(5)under different attack trait level, whether perpetrators are adults have different effects on aggressive cognition priming. |
