At present, in the transition period to adjust the economic structure of China, advanced science and technology, rapid economic development, make every enterprise is getting more and more intense facing the market competition with the world’s gradual integration. Under the background of globalization of the market competition, the enterprise need more innovation and adaptability. What the employees have to face is fast-paced development, variability and uncertainty. They also need to update their knowledge, ability constantly in order to adapt to the new work pressure. Besides, the values of the new generation of workers also changed. They are no longer confined to a long-term, fixed work, but continue to seek new career development. The mobility of the labor force is gradually accelerated under the influence of this new concept of occupation. And the workers who seek for their own development and change their work make the pressure to adapt to the new career become the norm of their own life. It can be seen that the pressure of occupational adaptation is me problem that every enterprise employee has to face and solve. It is important to study the pressure of occupational adaptation.At home, it’s not enough for the occupational adaptation stress research literature. The concept and connotation are not clearly defined. There is no scholars explore the relationship of occupational adaptation stress, proactive personality and occupational health. Existing researches show that occupational adaptation stress have an influence on occupational health. Whether employees’ the initiative will influence the relationship between the two and how it is will be discussed in this paper. Based on domestic and foreign researches, we explored the relationship among occupational adaptation stress, active personality and occupational health of the Chinese enterprise employee through interviews, questionnaires and data analysis. And we also analyzed the characteristics of three variables on demographic variables. The results are as follows:(1) Occupational adaptation stress is a multi-dimensional structure. It consists of 7 dimensions:dynamic task completion and innovation, learning new knowledge and technology, cultural adaptation, interpersonal adaptation, outlook uncertainty, body fit and emergency pressure. The final formal occupational stress measurement questionnaire was formed by 26 items. Test results show that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity, which has reached the basic standard of psychological measurement. It can be used as a measuring tool for empirical research.(2) Occupational adaptation stress, proactive personality and occupational health were significantly correlated. The seven dimensions of occupational adaptation stress were positively correlated with the three dimensions of occupational health. Proactive personality significantly moderate the relationship of dynamic task and innovation pressure and emotional health, and the relationship of the uncertain prospects stress and emotional health, and the relationship of the interpersonal adaptation stress and emotional health.(3) Demographic variables have significant effect on occupational adaptation pressure, proactive personality and occupational health.
