Han dynasty is the unification of the ancient Chinese,money and economy have developed a lot during this period, a number of important political and economic reform policies have introduced, currency reform is one of the important measures.The government must face the question that how to establishing a national and unity monetary system.From the early Han dynasty Han emperor Qin system, free to put the Han dynasty cast the centralization of coinage right, Han dynasty to the centralization of coinage right, cast the line five baht money,100 years has experienced 9 currency reforms. Five baht money not only to consolidate the Han dynasty established centralized rule, but also had a profound impact on future generations.From the Western Han dynasty to the Tang dynasty, exist about seven hundred years.lt is the longest currency in Chinese and promote the economic. There are many successful experience and failures during this.Shandong province north east near the Yellow sea, Bohai sea, west Taishan, on the north of China plain, is a relatively independent geographical unit.Shandong is an important area during Han dynasty,unearthed lots of coin patterns in resent years. It reflected the changes in the development of social economic, political, military and culture as well as government monetary policy changes in the physical example.The paper based on the unearthed material,using archaeological method,do research in the coin patterns of Han dynasty in Shandong province.The paper can be divided into four chapter.The first is the introduction of coin patterns,the research history of coin patterns.introduce the research method.Chapter two introduce the monetary policies in different periods of Han dynasty.Besides,give a brief introduces about the methodology and materials of this essay.Chapter three concludes related questions.Campares the materials in Shandong province with Shanxi province, The relationship between Junguo system with minting of Han dynasty.The last parts conclude the difffculty during the writing.Because of the lack archaeological materials and limited research capacity,the research is not good enough. I expect future research can be improved.
