The Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection And Modern Life

The intangible cultural heritage protection in China has been officially launched since 2005.During the last 10 years, research on the theory of intangible cultural heritage has flourished as well as the protection has developed rapidly. "Modernization" has gradually become a major issue both in the theory and the practice all over the world since 1960’s.Theoretical research is the guidance on practical work. The study of intangible cultural heritage protection theory and Modernization theory provides useful reference for the future problem.This thesis starts on the relationship of the intangible cultural heritage protection and modern life with literature and interpretation method.Then, this thesis puts forward the issues and solutions of intangible cultural heritage protection in modern life by analysis the consequences and chances for intangible cultural heritage protection under the background of modernization systematically.This article is divided into five parts, which are research background, research summary, the relationship between the intangible cultural heritage protection and modernization,the considerations of the intangible cultural heritage protection in modern life, and the epilogue.The first chapter of this article is the introduction.The introduction introduces the background of the problem discussed in this thesis, as well as the research methods, and then leads to the root problem of the whole passage:How to protect the intangible cultural heritage in the process of the modernization.The second chapter is the summary of related research.This chapter is divided into three section.The first section is the review of the research on the protection of intangible cultural heritage. On the basis of clarifying the concept of intangible cultural heritage, this section summarizes the achievements of the protection of intangible cultural heritage in China for last ten years. The second section is a summary of the studies about the concept of "modern".The third section summarizes the previous studies on modernization and the intangible cultural heritage protection.The third chapter mainly discusses the problems of the intangible cultural heritage protection in the modern life.This chapter first discusses the urbanization has come at a social cost in the intangible cultural heritage protection by destroying the space of traditional culture.Secondly, this chapter discusses the decline of China’s traditional culture caused by industrialization,and has become the direct cause of the decline of traditional arts and traditional skills.As the request of industrialization, standardization, standardization and integration of industrial products, on the one hand, has diverted to the space of traditional handicrafts, on the other hand also affects people’s aesthetic.Finally, the chapter expounds the impact of globalization on the diversity of national culture. Thus, he conflicts between the modern and the intangible cultural heritage is not irreconcilable.On the basis of the previous discussion, the fifth chapter puts forward some problems that should be paid attention to the intangible cultural heritage protection in the process of the modernization.Modern life has brought people a wealth of material enjoyment, at the same time, it also brings people a variety of discomfort, rather than the material cultural heritage embodied, it is a traditional way of life. The key to protect the intangible cultural heritage is to restore and rebuild the traditional healthy lifestyle.Community is an important place for daily life, to protect intangible cultural heritage, community must play a part in it so that can improve the people’s cultural consciousness, and enable people to actively take the initiative to participate in the protection. To promote and respect cultural diversity is an important principle that should be followed in the protection of intangible cultural heritage. At the same time, modern education should be used efficiently in arousing people especially the young people’s consciousness of the traditional culture of ethnic identity.
