“Fixed Idea” and “Thematic Transformation” as the method of composition for musical theme, is the keynotes from romantic composers Zhan Yan at the 19 th century. Make it bound to Program Music, express emotions, create scene atmosphere, portrays the character and specify things. In Program Music, Drama Symphonies or symphonic poem, Composer with an intelligent use of those two methods of composition. In the realization of musical expression meaning purpose, but also by those major, and variations of the prototype has a guiding role throughout the musical theme, A plurality of movement or a single-movement work inside and the whole structure has been some kind of energy,providing large-scale musical process unified security, although in the form of complex, but a clear focus on the center,brings beauty.These methods of composition has a great effect on the music creation at the last half of the 19 th century to 20 th century. This article analyses the most representative symphonic by Berlios and Liszt’s at 19 th century. These two method of composition, How from the former only as a structural component, but not the subject of the meaning of language, motivation, Enthone, slowly degrees to the new state, And bear ideographic function to expand the exposition focuses on the19 th century fixed idea, function and genesis of social and cultural practices relating to deformation.There are four chapters in this article, The first chapter is to start from Berlios<<Symphonie Fantastique>> and << Harole in Italy>>,Analyzed the usage of “Fixed Idea” and its Music morphological characteristics. The second chapter is to start from Liszt’s symphonic poem <<Prelude>> and the symphony <<Faust Symphony>>,Analyzed the usage of theme music and its Music morphological characteristics. The third chapter analyzes the performance and the structure of the functions for those two methods. The fourth chapter is to explore these two methods history traceability and social origin.
