The Application Of Line In Artistic Creation

As one of the basic elements of drawing, line has always been favorite way creating art work by artist,can be realized to express his thoughts. But lines is not material and if there is no vehicle, As one of substance, line also can be existed by attachment carrier, serve as a form of expression for artistic conception and inner feelings. About the fascination of the line, Clive Bell said: "only from the quality of a line, it can be concluded that the work of the creator is a good artist or not." Starting from the lines of language, this paper describes the lines of visual perception,meanwhile it tries to reveal what is function of line in direct and indirect paints,which analyzing progress according to my own art experience.
