Aesthetic Features And Artist Expression Of The Classical Poetry Song “Ruoyan”

Su Shi is the representative of the highest achievement in literature during the Song Dynasty. Over 2700 poems written during his lifetime have been spread all over the world. The research of scholars in every dynasty on achievements of his poems is detailed and comprehensive, but studies for poems involving music are slightly insufficient. Actually, there is a considerable number of music poems with themes of playing guzheng, percussion of bell and chime stone and flute singing. These poems are not only the outstanding literary works, but also the precious music cultural heritage in ancient China.This article conducts a comprehensive analysis on his thoughts contained in his representative music poem “Ruoyan”.
