Yangcheng dialect is a dialect point, which belongs to Zezhou linguistic area,Shangdang district in Jin linguistic region. On the basis of a in-depth investigation and is established in comparing with Putonghua, this article analyzes several characteristics of Yangcheng dialect vocabulary via field investigation method, contrastive analysis, enumeration method, etc. This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is introduction, mainly about the origin of analysis, methods, significance and relevant illustration.The second part introduces Yangcheng dialect and its relevant research states, mainly includes the constitution, affiliation, phonetic system of Yangcheng dialect and its relevant results.The third part focuses on the vocabulary features of Yangcheng dialects and analyzes its vocabulary via comparing with Putonghua.The comparison is mainly through three aspects:firstly through the amount of syllables, and secondly is the similarities and differences of word forming morpheme, including the choice of morpheme and order, etc.The third aspect is analyzed from affix, there are some special affixes in Yangcheng dialect, that do not exist in Putonghua, for instance, "ge", "re", "be", etc. There are some affixes in Putonghua, however, the usage of them are different from Yangcheng dialect, for example, the affix of "zi"The forth part explored the semantic character of Yangcheng dialect vocabulary from three angles of rational, colorific and grammatical meanings, by comparing with Putonghua.The fifth part viewpoints the comparison with Putonghua to inspect the rheological behavior of Yangcheng dialect by two aspects:the differences of the continuing use of ancient words and the differences of the new coinages’ motivation.
