The Song dynasty is the peak of the development of Chinese culture. China’s official education in this period has reached an unprecedented height, especially the development of the state county schools has achieved remarkable achievements. Since the South Song state county school’s information is less, the previous scholars to its research is not thorough, it is necessary to study the Southern Song state county school. The development of state county schools in the Southern Song Dynasty was developed on the basis of the destruction of the war in the two Song dynasties, although they are called recovery, with the pioneering, development of county, the Southern Song Dynasty is actually relatively independent stages. This paper aims to the relevant historical materials of the Southern Song Dynasty County School combing with the analysis,In the Southern Song Dynasty, the development of state schools, the state of the county school officials and the state of the school funding situation, there is a comprehensive grasp of the system.The article is divided into four parts to discuss. The first part learn disruption of the state county schools between the Southern and Northern Song Dynasties, recovery and development of the state county schools in Shaoxing reign period, the problems and development of the state county schools in the late Southern Song Dynasty, several stages are discussedin, combing the Southern Song County School in the history of the development of the vertical. In the second part, the territory of the Southern Song Dynasty is divided into four major areas:the southeast region, the border region, Sichuan, Hubei, Guangdong and Guangxi and other regions of Hunan.Comparison of the four regions of the state and county schools, the national development of the county school horizontal comparison, school development is very uneven.In the third part, state county school officials were discussed. Discusses from settings, selection and treatment. The treatment and outlet of the county school officials in South Song state is not good, which affects the development of the school in the Southern Song state. In the fourth part, the paper discusses the source of funds, expenditure, management problems and solutions of the state county schools in the state of the Southern Song Dynasty. Southern Song state county school funding has not been enough, resulting in the development of the Southern Song County school is not stable.
