This thesis mainly talk about the formation mechanism, semantics and pragmatic features of the construction grammar of “xiaoxin+(bie)VP”.When“xiaoxin+(bie)VP” become a redundant negation construction, the differences with other non-redundant constructions is also one of the research emphases for this paper.Meanwhile, based on the study of ontology, this paper investigates the usage of“xiaoxin+(bie)VP” of Chinese language learners whose mother tongue is other languages by questionnaires and tries to give some suggestions on teaching Chinese as a second language after analyzing usage errors.The full text has seven chapters. Chapter one and chapter two are introduction and research summary respectively. From chapter three to chapter six are the main part of this paper. Chapter seven is conclusion. Chapter three is the focal point of this paper, it reveals causes of “xiaoxin+(bie)VP” construction by analyzing “xiaoxin”,“bie” and restrictions on VP. Chapter four analyses semantic features of“xiaoxin+(bie)VP” construction from expressing the meaning of reminding and warning respectively.Chapter five talks about pragmatics features of“xiaoxin+(bie)VP” construction in pragmatic strategies and pragmatic principles.Chapter six analyses usage errors of “xiaoxin+(bie)VP” construction by researching questionnaires. With the combination of TCFL, tries to find error causes,explore the teaching methods and provide some teaching suggestions.
