Research On The Impeachment Article Of Han Wei And Jin Dynasties

With the gradual perfection of the political system in ancient society, political articles appeared to classification which closely connected with the government system. Among, impeachment article proved to be an essential part in dealing with political affairs due to its unique function and clear purpose. This thesis collects the article among Han, Wei and Jin dynasties, analyzing the ideological content of article, the basis and suggestions of officials’ article, supervision system of nation and writing characters of impeachment article in order to illustrate the important status and value of impeachment article in Chinese ancient political prose.This paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter: the analysis of motivation of impeachment article. The author, through the study of history and text research found that officials have a different motivation in writing article to accuse others. Accordingly, this paper, on the basis of the different motive between the impeachment article, divided research purpose into four categories: national interests, political purposes or personal interests and other. Through the interpretation of the reasons of officials impeach, officials beliefs and preferences can be interpreted in the face of national interests as long as the ruler’s preferences and mentality in face of personal safety. Meanwhile we understand that the integrity of faith is very important to officials who shoulder the supervision responsibility of nation.The second chapter: Based on the text analysis, impeachment article including three factors: reasons of impeachment article, contents of impeachment article and advices of impeachment article. This section contains rich content, on the whole, a complete article will contain three elements. This article is not only reasoning but also clear thinking, you can have a clear understanding after reading. From various parts view, the impeachment based on the ancient Confucianism and theory of Chen-wei superstition which developed on the basis of the Confucianism. They are mutual integration so as to influencing on ancient scholars. From the impeachment content, Chinese ancient official forwarded requests on to be peoples, officials and sons on aspects which showed their self- constraint conception.Finally, we can sense the ancient legal concept from the disposal of opinions. Moreover, this paper fused in the conception of safeguard the legitimate private property and maintain the supreme imperial power which have a great help to understand the basic content of impeachment article and the thought of the ancient officials.The third chapter: Illustrate on the creation mechanism of the impeachment article. On one hand, I will elaborate on the writing requirement from ability, attitude and literary grace, then I will summary the change evolution of the supervisory system in Han, Wei and Jin dynasties. On the other hand, I will introduce this powerful and clear characteristics argumentative prose and its literal beauty in the aesthetic perspective.
