In the 21 st century, with the sustained and rapid economic growth, Chinese international status raise, an overseas "Chinese language fever" continues to heat up. Since 1975, China and Thailand established diplomatic relations, cooperation between the two countries in various fields such as politics, economy, trade, military, culture, education, science and technology, etc. Not only contribute to further expansion of Chinese education in Thailand, but also promote Chinese teaching. Based on surveys, research and analysis in Chinese Teaching in Thailand we summed up the reasons for the Thai Chinese fever and problems, and given the problems related to the proposal, summarized the significance of Chinese teaching in Thailand. I hope the theory and practice of teaching Chinese in Thailand can expand the theory and practical guidance to play the role.This article includes introduction, five chapters,conclusion,totaling seven parts.Chapter one gives a brief overview of the background and significance of articles, research status, research ideas, methods, innovations and shortcomings. Chapter two describes history and the present of Chinese education in Thailand. Chinese education in Thailand has many years of history, experiences beginning, development, setback, and recovery, Chinese education continues prosperity. Chapter three demonstrates the reasons of learning Chinese. There are political reasons, economic reasons and cultural reasons. Political reasons, including government policies of China and Thailand, Economic reasons are China’s and Thailand’s economic development needs. Cultural reasons include the charm of Chinese culture and its own identity of the overseas Chinese in Thailand to Chinese culture. Chapter four shows the problems of Chinese learning. Although Chinese language teaching in Thailand develops well, there are some problems also,like teachers,students and taching material. Chapter five introduces that China and Thailand must joint efforts to solve the problems. First, the Thai government should regulate the management, develop unified textbooks. The Chinese government should also assist the government of Thailand to develop unified textbooks, strengthen the construction of teachers and volunteer training. Chapter six explains the significance of Chinese education in politics, economy, education to China and Thailand. Chinese education is good for political mutual trust between China and Thailand, economic development, is conducive to carrying forward the fine traditions of Chinese culture, to create a good image of the country.Thai Chinese education is part of the promotion of Chinese language teaching, is new interdisciplinary frontier issues. Thailand and Chinese government, academics, teachers, students work together to make the development of Chinese education in Thailand is getting better.
