Content: I performed this interpreting practice on June 3rd, 2015, as one of the interpreters for the Seminar on Hebei-Brandenburg Investment and Cooperation. The report is based on my practice, combined with my study of the professional theory and knowledge, focusing on the the problems in the interpreting practice. In this report, I analyze, discuss and summarize those problems to learn the experience and lessons, hoping to guide and regulate my coming study and work.Interpretation is an important means in promoting exchanges between countries and regions speaking different languages. Since the Integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Strategy was proposed, Hebei Province has become increasingly prominent in the blueprint of China’s development. The exchanges with other countries and regions of Hebei have been promoted greatly. This seminar is an important platform for Hebei to have economic and cultural exchanges and seek cooperation. Interpreters are indispensable on this platform as a bridge. An excellent interpreter and a high-quality interpreting can often promote commercial exchanges greatly. The first part of this report is the introduction of the seminar, including the background, the requirements of the interpreting quality, and the nature of this seminar. The second part is the preparation work and the description of the interpreting process. The third part is case analysis, which is the core of this report; the fourth part is the problems in practice. Through serious reflection, I sum up the experience and lessons in this practice to evaluate and guide my study and work in the future.
