Interpretation bias is an important part of cognitive bias. "Interpretation bias ", in the cognitive information processing process, refers to the tendency to interpret situations in a negative or threatening manner then make judgments and explanations for their own surroundings. In recent years, forensic researchers have focused on the social cognitive characteristics in people with high anxiety. In previous studies, interpretation bias was found to be widely linked to social anxiety in adult populations, that is, social anxiety generally tend to threaten information and negative interpretation bias. Most studies have assessed biased interpretative inferences made on self-report or reaction time paradigms, rather than using both methods (Beard,2009).But there is few research to investigate characteristics of interpretation bias and its intervention, whether they have the same negative interpretation bias between social anxiety and meta-worry during college students? There is no research in China. Recent studies have revealed that interpretation bias can be manipulated through the training; there are some a conclusion in adults. So In Chinese local conditions, interpretation bias can also be trained? In order to solve this problem, the procedures in current study were as follows: fist, analyses the literature to proposing research question and hypothesis, then to design and implement research program. At last, we analyze the data and confirm the hypothesis:Respectively examines characteristics of interpretation bias with the college students social anxiety;college students social anxiety meta-worry and no worry; Secondly, based on the first research, use of social context in text materials, three subjects groups were trained their positive and negative interpretation, According to the pre-test and post-test paired comparison test, it can be confirmed interpretation bias are manipulated. This study has two behavioral experiments, discussion about interpretation bias characteristics and its change and effectiveness about college students’ social anxiety worry, social anxiety meta-worry and no worry respectively. Through experimental method research, explore the existence of college students’ negative interpretation bias through imagination and text understanding; the second research confirm the interpretation bias variability and effective using similar cognitive change program technology with positive and negative interpretation bias. The results in the current study as following:1、College students’ social anxiety meta-worry negative interpretation bias exists ubiquitous. According to the data statistics, negative interpretation bias of no worry group was significantly difference between social anxiety groups and no worry groups.2、Social anxiety meta-worry groups are more negative interpretation bias than those college students who has no worry and with social anxiety. Their negative interpretation bias was no significantly difference between social anxiety meta-worry groups and worry groups3、There are more negative interpretation bias, but have no significant between social anxiety meta-worry groups and social anxiety groups in college students.4、Negative interpretation bias can be promoted in social anxiety meta-worry groups and social anxiety.5、No worry groups are more negative interpretation bias through negative training; No worry groups are more positive interpretation bias through positive training.
