Research On The Design Of Public Signs In The Athlete’s Village Based On Standardized Theory

In recent years, accompanied by enhanced comprehensive national strength and the development of sports, the opportunities for our country to host all kind of events are keep growing, among them the construction of sports facilities gradually catches people’s focus. On one hand, because hosting large-scale sport competitions promotes the construction of modern sports facilities and the communication between participants from all over the world, the standardization construction of the athletes’ village public signs is imperative not only for the correctly understanding of public signs for all participants from different culture background, but also for the function of public signs which bearing and convey information can be better achieved.On the other hand, nowadays diversified design become more and more popular, but there are still some problems in the system of public signs of the athlete’s village in our country,and the construction of public signs in the athlete’s village is no longer limited to the construction of Guide boards itself; to a certain extent, the extension of it also has a closed and mutual relation with the city’s development.Based on the theory of the standardization of public signs, this thesis is divided into five parts, proceed some analysis and comparison work on the athletes’ village’s public sign systems from domestic and abroad, then summed up some design methods about the associated element in public sign designs;on this basis, discussed the relationship between public signs standardization in athlete’s village and personalized trends;and further more, by taking the Nanjing Youth Olympic village as a background, this thesis reviewed the design and implementation plan of the youth Olympic village public signs systems, and also analyzed the characteristics of construction in the youth Olympic village public signs facilities and discussed the question about post-Games uses;Based on the above theoretical research and example analysis, this thesis tries to put forward some strategies and useful thoughts for the construction of athlete’s village public signs facilities according to knowing problems,then we may could look forward to the athlete’s village public signs in our country gets some new progress in future.
