Research On Teachers’ Ability Of Xi’an Children Dance Sports Teaching

Dance sports, formerly known as the international standard ballroom dancing, mainly divided into two major categories of Latin and Modern. Latin includes Samba, Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Paso Doble, Jive; Modern includes Viennese Waltz, Quickstep Waltz, Tango and Foxtrot. In recent years, with the deepening influence of dance sports, more and more people of different ages take participate in them, especially the children age. Dance sports have very active influence in children’s growth process, such as body shaping, physical health and mental health. Xi’an Children Dance Sports career has a rapid development in recent years, various training institutions have sprung up, along with the growth of the number of children dance sports teachers.The ability of teaching of children dance sports teachers determines the teaching quality. The teachers’ability of children dance sports teaching includes basic teaching ability, choreography ability, organization and management ability, teaching and research ability, and every ability has to be in touch with another. With the increasing number of Xi’an children dance sports teachers comes many problems in teaching, such as teacher qualifications standardization, the lack of teaching experience, low teacher qualifications, teaching methods and form are monotonous.This paper’s object of study is the teachers’ability of Xi’an children’s dance sports teaching. I selected dozens of children dance sports training institutions in Xi’an, combining the method of literature and expert interview analyzed the present situation of the teachers’ability of Xi’an children’s dance sports. Made following conclusions:1.Xi’an children dance sports teachers are getting younger, male and female’s number of teachers are close, most teachers are highly educated, high-grade teachers keep been increasing.2.Xi’an children dance sports teachers have shortcomings in independent teaching design, combining extracurricular knowledge and the innovation of teaching method.3.The factors inflected the teachers’ability of Xi’an children’s dance sports are: teachers’ lack of education and professional training, the children dance sports training institutions’pursuit of benefit, and the children’s parents’utility purpose of learning children dance sports.Based on the conclusions, this research have given some suggestions to improving the teachers’ability of Xi’an children’s dance sports, and put forward new trains of thoughts.
