In a dramatic changing society, reflection always keeps pace with time and never end. Herzen said in the czar’s darkest times that for the nation that loses their social freedom, literature is the only pulpit which can make people hear his cry and anger.Among the Sino-soviet writers, Zhang Xianxiang and Boris Pasternak are suffered more by "left" political civilization which causes trauma to the fate of intellectuals. The anti-rightist movement in late 1950s made large numbers of intellectuals and writers fell into the bottom of the society:they were repatriated to rural labor reform, or shut in "bullpen", or put in prison for forcing control. After coming back in the new period, with the background of labor camp and prison life, some writers created and drilled lots of works with deep thinking, which is known as the "big wall literature" by the critics. In these writers, Zhang Xianliang is an accomplished but controversial writer. Zhang Xianliang made unique reflection about the movement of the "left" in the history by selecting the three points of view of "feed", "sex" and "death".Pasternak, in the period of Stalin in the Soviet, adhere to the personality and love of humanitarian, the jaguar, through novel doctor zhivago expressed concerns about the era. Zhivago the fate of the historical destiny of refraction with Russia a generation of intellectuals, his life and fate is full of suffering and irreparable regret. He expressed his reflections on the October revolution period also by hunger, death, sex and love feeling.Zhang Xianliang and Boris Pasternak, the two great writers, whose works are full of profound reflection of political and reality, express their memories and spiritual wealth that hardship has brought.It’s worthy to absorb nutrition from them, as well as to reflect history and reality.
