The Important Role Of "Light" In Oil Painting

Light as one of the important factors of nature, affecting all aspects of people, also played a very important role in our human emotions and painting. with vision as a carrier in painting art, Visual transmission of light is an important way to express the painter’s emotion and thought. This paper analyzes some painters’ cases with different styles and in different historical stages. Then organizes out the performance of "light" can show of the different visual painting styles and painting ideas. The picture tone under different light sources is described in many aspects.In order to excavate the works’ ideological and spiritual connotation and highlight the picture fun to satisfy people’s emotional expression inmaximum.In my creation, I also try to use the light language to display the interest of the picture and expresses the different thoughts and feelings.This study guides the direction and lays the foundation for my future of creation.
