The Research On The "Zai"-sentence In Documents Of Selected Works Of Mao Zedong

Usage of “Zai”-sentence of official documents in Mao’selected works is very rich, so this paper aims to make a comprehensive grasp of “Zai”-sentence of official documents in Mao’selected works by means of three plane theory and statistical analysis method, description and interpretation method and so on.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction and the last chapter is the conclusion. The introduction part consists of the following five parts.They are the research object of this paper,the significance of the topic,the summarization of the research on the language of Mao’selected works,the summarization of the research on “Zai”–sentence and the theory and method of this paper.Specificly speaking it is about description on the background of the paper, definition on the object of study, summary of previous research achievements, illustration of three plane theory and methods such as inductive deductive method, statistical analysis, description and explanation method illustrated.The conclusion part summarizes the views of this paper and points out the deficiencies. The second chapter is about the study of the syntactic structure of the “Zai”-sentence. According to the fact that the language of the 71 documents, the“Zai”-sentence is divided into 5 types of sentence in this paper, and the 5 types are discussed respectively. The third chapter of this paper is about the study of the semantic types of “Zai”-sentence. From the synchronic point of view, there are 6 kinds of semantic types, and attempts to explain some semantic phenomena by using the cognitive container schema.The fourth chapter of this thesis is to study the pragmatic plane of the “Zai”-sentence.Discussing the appearance of preposition“Zai”in different syntactic position. According to the actual situation of the looming example sums up the implied rules in different syntactic position’s “Zai”. Finally, the "Zai"- phrase and the "Zai" frame will be investigated in the official document chapter. It shows three functions in the document text, including cohesion function, precincts function and classification and illustration function.
