In recent years, the phenomenon of social exclusion has gradually become a hot research topic in the field of psychology and sociology. It has been proved that some low levels of negative emotions, such as anger, depression, loneliness and anxiety, can be triggered by social exclusion. There is no evidence to prove that it is also from social exclusion, but there is still a view that social exclusion is one of the factors that lead to negative social emotions. At the same time, there is also a view that social exclusion only acts on the individual and make it produce numbness emotional response. In previous studies of social exclusion, the research focuses on the interaction mechanism between the two variables, and the lack of the study of the intermediate variables. On the research methods of social exclusion, more concentrated in the experimental field, the development of the relevant research paradigm is more mature, the current social exclusion of the questionnaire is less. This study by questionnaire and experiment, to further explore the social exclusion of individual social emotions influence, using questionnaire method to measure self-esteem between social exclusion and social anxiety in the role. The research results show:1. Individual social anxiety was significantly influenced by the social exclusion(based on the experiment and questionnaire).2. In the experiment, the mutual recognition paradigm was introduced, and the short-term social exclusion was successfully induced, which verified the validity of the model in the Chinese college students.3. Using the method of questionnaire can be measured in the long-term social exclusion impact on social anxiety, and introduce the variable of self-esteem, the intermediary effect test results show that, self-esteem in social anxiety and social exclusion of the relational model has a significant mediating effect.4. High self-esteem individuals in response to social exclusion situations, their sense of social anxiety will be weakened by their own sense of self-esteem.
