The cultural heritages of our nation are rich in categories and kinds, complex in construction, and each kind of cultural heritages are all with very well Chinese characteristics,which has witnessed the highly developed cultures of various dynasties. Among the many types of cultural heritages, it is the ceramic handicraft heritage that can fully embodies the depth and advantages of China’s traditional cultures.As an important part of China’s ceramic industry, Shandong ceramic industry in on the history of ceramics in China occupies a pivotal position. However, in recent years, with the rapid development of urbanization, Shandong ceramic industrial heritage become economic development destruction is most serious cultural heritage. How to correctly understand the value of the Shandong ceramic handicraft heritage and take valid protective utilization of it? These have become very important subject with practical significance in current Shandongern ceramic handicraft heritage protection.In this paper, the author interpret the concepts and contents of the Shandong ceramic handicraft heritage from different angles, analyze the body composition and value propertiesof it, construct evaluation system of it combined with the existed evaluation methods,and then put forward specific protection measures based on the evaluation results. these study providesfeasibility suggestions for the future research of Shandongern ceramic handicraft heritage protection.Firstly, The author describes the background and significance of the study, defines the concepts and the scope of the paper.Through sorting and analyzing the existed value evaluation method of cultural heritages, the author grasps their characteristics, merits and application range. Based on the previous studies,this part of paper tries to construct a solid theoretical foundation for the value evaluation system construction of Shandongern ceramic handicraft heritage.Secondly, the paper emphatically explores the geographic characteristics and distribution of the Shandongern ceramics handicraft heritage, and analyzes the body composition of it from the view points of material and non-material resources. The author re-examines several values embodied by ceramic handicraft heritage from multiple value angles in the building process of the Shandongern ceramic handicraft heritage value assessment system. Then the researcher fully integrates evaluation theories and mathematical analysis methods, takes quantitative evaluation as main methods supplemented by qualitative evaluation, and strives to establish a scientific and systemic value evaluation system of Shandongern ceramic handicraft heritage.Finally,the author will apply the setted value evaluation system of Shandong ceramic handicraft heritage in case study of the protecting evaluation of Zibo Weyi kiln site, and use empirical case to test the evaluation system. Then,the reseacher will sumarize the insufficients found in the process of applying handicraft heritage value evaluation system, and hope to improve it.
