Zhang Hen-shui is the history of modern popular literature of the famous literary master, in their life writing, only the more than 100 novels have come out. Lau Shaw called him "the only writer known of women and children," shows the breadth of his work spread, deep impact. However, due to historical reasons era and ideological factors, in a very long time, his importance and uniqueness has not been fully recognized. Although since the 1980 s, scholars began to re-examine Zhang Hen-shui on Henshui research also continues to heat up and has achieved some results, but still need to broaden their horizons, to update thinking, further deepen the study.From the perspective of Zhang Hen-shui, the double identity of "modern newspaper man" and "traditional literati", combined with literary theory and communication theory, by text reading and comparative studies, to explore in depth the impact of their dual identity creation. Paper is divided into three chapters, namely traditional literati and modern journalist dual identity, dual identity of their novels and limitations affect innovation and creation.Section Ⅰ, II of one chapter respectively, from the first chapter of Zhang Hen-shui "traditional literati", "Modern Journalists’ two identities start to the traditional role of modern scholars and journalists feelings for Zhang Hen-shui life trajectory, the impact of the creation of the trail were carding demonstration. And in the third quarter, the dual identity of Zhang Hen-shui body adjustment and the search for unified demonstration.Chapter II about Henshui novels, through text analysis, discusses the specific impact of the dual identity of Zhang Hen-shui four novels in the choice of theme, character set, language, style, and other text connotation.The third chapter is based on the previous two chapters, highlighting the impact of the dual identity of Zhang Hen-shui unique, affirmed its journalists, then novels innovation, but also pointed out its shortcomings and deficiencies creation.
