It focuses on the following aspects: 1. To investigate current situations of competence, social support and work engagement of college-graduate village officials. 2.To discuss the relationships among competency, social support and work engagement of college-graduate village officials.Methods:The main methods are literature study, questionnaire and statistical analysis. By studied the existing literature and presented research perspectives. Then assigned questionnaires and collected data. Finally, analyzed significance test, correlation analysis and regression analysis of the collected data by SPSS and established structural equation modeling to test mediating effects by amos.Results:There were significant relationship among competency and work engagement, competency and social support, social support and work engagement. The social support played the significant mediating role between competency and work engagement of college-graduate village officials.Conclusions:1. There were significant relationship among competency and work engagement,the more higher competency they hold, the more higher work engagement they own. We can through select high competence college-graduate village officials to improve the overall level of work investment of them. 2. There were significant relationship among social support and work engagement, and the social support played the role to positively predict work engagement. We can provide more support to the college-graduate village officials work in peacetime,in order to improve their work engagement. 3. There were significant relationship among competency and social support,and the competency played the role to positively predict social support. 4. The social support played the significant mediating role between competency and work engagement of college-graduate village officials.
