In the year 2001, marked by the issuing of <music course standard, version 2001>, china’s music education reform has turned into a new page. After 10 years of developing, upgrading and reforming on the music new course, on May,2011,<music course standard version 2011> was eventually accomplished. These 2 versions reflect the background of china’s music education development in a new century when the music teachers are challenged with various tasks including new teaching concept and skills upgrading. Music teachers are required to improve class quality in order for the teaching-training process which is the core of the whole education duration to play a more important role. To train music teachers to implement new course with complete, systematic, scientific and effective characters, is one of the training goal for music teachers. So this makes new music teaching course strategically meaningful.This article adopts both teaching course procedure theory and practice details, structured as:starting to introduce topics background and their researching purpose; chapter 1 raises some issues on china’s music teaching course with comparison to relevant overseas situation. Chapter 2 introduces principles and frame for the new course setup. Last chapter lists some key issues which help to optimize teaching result and improve quality during the implementation of the new course.
