To enhance the effect of China animation in the world animation industry, China’s domestic animation to create works with national characteristics. The purpose of this paper is that through the research on Application of character design in the opera animation, from of opera animation in China and development of opera culture inheritance and protection with a force, also hope can bring some reference to other types of domestic animation role image design through the study of opera cartoon character design, to explore the wind of the nation of China’s animation creation has certain significance.
