The Effect Of Social Internet Use And Non-social Internet Use On Adolescents’ Social Creativity:Moderating Effect Of Personality

As social creativity is related to how well a person could solve all kinds of interpersonal problems encountered in life and emotional problems, etc., it is of great significance to adolescents’ mental health and personality development. Nowadays in the highly information-based age, network has become an important part in adolescents’ life and learning. On the Internet environment teenagers’ social creativity and performance follows their own special laws. There is different influence on different ways of Internet use, therefore this study divide Internet use into two kinds:use of social network, and use of non-social network.s.The former pays attention to the network interaction, while the later fouses on network tools and practical use. This study adopted by stratified cluster sampling, from different grade (one, two, three grade) of selected samples of 1000, after screening, obtain 793 valid sample data, using SPSS analysis, with descriptive statistics, regression analysis, causal relation model analysis the several analysis methods to investigate the impact of Internet use of adolescent social creativity and personality.Around this goal, we carried out the following study:1. To find out the influence of teenagers using non-social network on their social creativity.2. To find out the influence of teenagers using social network on their social creativity.3. Moderating effect of personality on different Internet use.The conclusions of this study are as follows:1. There was no gender difference in adolescents’social creativity.2. There were no significantly differences with the increase of grade and gender. There were significant gender differencesin personality, significant differences in grade, significant differences between the only and the non-only child.4. Entertainment can predict social creativity negatively, while information can be predicted social creativity positively.5. In the social dependence of social creativity, psychotic-ism had a positive moderating effect. In the self perception of social creativity, neurotic-ism had-a negative moderating effect.
