Parents’ Marital Conflict, Self Harmony And Mobile Phone Addiction Among Secondary Specialized School Students

As smartphone function has become increasingly popular, the influence of the mobile phone addiction will be greater. Parents’ marital instability and poor parent-child relationship will affect the mental health of teenagers. In order to maintain harmony themselves, individuals will take various defense reaction which can lead to all kinds of psychological barriers. This research subjects for zhangzhou secondary specialized school students’ object, use Parents’ marital conflict perception scale, Self Consistency and Congruence Scale and cell phone addiction scale to explore the three characteristics and their relationships. According to this study, conclusions are draw as follow:(1) The scores of Parents’ perception of marital conflict, Self Consistency and Mobile phone addiction exist significant differences on the part of demography.(2)The students in the different-levels of Self Consistency were significantly different in Parents’ perception of marital conflict and Mobile phone addiction. High self harmonious group corresponds to Parents’ perception of marital conflict and Mobile phone addiction’s high score.(3)There are significant positive correlations among Mobile phone addiction, Parents’ perception of marital conflict and Self Consistency.Self harmonious total score,disharmony between self and experience and self consistency scoring total score are significantly positively related to relationship between marital conflict with parents, the flexibility of self score shows a negative correlation between marital conflict with parents.(4)Parents’ conflict resolution and self attribution have significant predict effects to self harmony. Parents’ operational effectiveness and self attribution have significant predict effect to mobile phone addiction. Self harmonious total score, self flexibility also have significant predict effect to mobile phone addiction, and self harmony had a mediating effect on the association between parents’ marital conflict and cell phone addiction.
