Complement is one of the six modern Chinese syntax elements, which includes the result complement, the modal complement, possible complement, directional complement, degree complement, prepositional complement and quantity complement. And quantity complement is divided into action measure complement and time measure complement. Therefore, time measure complement is an important form of modern Chinese grammar in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, but also one of the important grammar points. However, because the form of time measure complement is related closely with the choice of time none and classifier, the use of separable word, the study of 了 1and 了 2, the nature of verb, virtually enhance the difficulty of learning time measure complement, this is also the difficulties when foreign students learn Chinese. The present study about time measure complement in Chinese grammar circles focus on ontology research, but it is often too complex in content, have too much categories, the level is too deep, so it can’t be directly used as a blueprint for teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and it is too difficult for foreign students to accept, The time measure complement in Chinese textbook remain in a relatively simple level, rarely involving the error prone points in student or other points of grammar co-occurrence, can’t provide reference for teachers.This paper will be based on the research of time measure complement ontology research, and will consider more about foreign students ‘acquisition rules and the process of teaching rules, this paper will give a more simple and easy method to understand, to teach, and sum up all the forms and the specific conditions of use of time measure complement, at the same time carding all the condition of time measure complement when it is used with other grammar points(like time quantifiers, separable word, and the nature of verb etc.), we expect to provide reference for teachers when teaching time measure complement. At the same time, analysis the error prone when foreign students learn time measure complement, then design how to teach time measure complement based on an teaching material, including the show, explanation, practice and review process of the grammar, hoping to provide suggestions for for teachers. The content of this paper includes the following four parts: one, the ontological study of time measure complement, including the choice of time quantifiers, the use of separable word, and the nature of verb etc. Two, errors analysis of time measure complement in foreign students. Taking Beijing Language and Culture University’s HSK dynamic composition corpus as the foundation of the research, Analysis the common error prone and the reasons of foreign students in learning time measure complement. Three, teaching design of time measure complement, based on the ontology research, design the method of teaching. Four, teaching effects evaluation and feedback. Whether teaching design is able to achieve the goal or not, need to evaluate the teaching effect and feedback to determine.
