Phonetic Study Of Jia Dong Dialect

Jia Dong dialect is a Chinese dialect which comes into being because of when the native Dong language speakers communicated with the local dialect speakers, there is a strong invasion of the local dialect, so that the native Dong language speakers have no choice but to give up their native language. But due to interference from their native language, there has a great difference between the Chinese come from Dong people and the local Chinese dialect, they have some features with pronunciation、vocabulary and grammar that come from Dong language, One of the most prominent is the inclusion of some phonetic features of Dong Language. Jia Dong dialect mainly distributed in northern of Dong district at Miao-Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Qiandongnan, there is in Shi Dong、Gao Niang、Lan Tian of Tian Zhu County, Ping Qiu、Yan Dong of Jin Ping County and Pan Xi of Jian He County are the most significant. Jia Dong dialect having existed for a long time, but we have not pay enough attention to it. So far, there have few people to investigate it, therefore, Jia Dong dialect is short of systematic research. For that reason, On the basis of fieldwork, we have conducted a comprehensive and systemtic research from the perspective of phonetics about Jia Dong dialect. And this paper is divided into five chapters.Chapter one: Introduction. This paper mainly introduces the research object, the geography、history、population and language overview of Jia Dong dialect. At the same time also introduces some of the research status、value、methods、material sources and the style of this paper.Chapter two: The accent pronunciation system. Sorting out the consonants、vowels and tones of Jia Dong dialect on the basis of the fieldwork. Then sorting out Syllable table and the voice situation about Jia Dong Dialect. At the same time also introduces the literal-colloquial pronunciations of Jia Dong dialect from consonants、vowels and tones.Chapter three: The inner differences of Jia Dong dialect. This chapter compares with interal of Jia Dong dialect in great detail from the two aspects of age and region. And summarize some regulations about the development or evolution of Jia Dong dialect, then we also discusse the reasons of internal differences simply on the basis of it.Chapter four: Compare with mediae val pronunciations. This chapter compare the consonants、vowels and tones with mediae val pronunciations in order to recognize the characters of their rhythms of Jia Dong dialect.Chapter five: Compare with “Hakka dialect”. This chapter compare Jia Dong dialect with “Hakka dialect” of Jinping county from the two aspects of the consonants and vowels, then recognize Jia Dong dialect has a tendency towards “Hakka dialect”.
